Our objective is to teach all things nautical and awaken a passion for sailing. The calm waters of the Mar Menor are perfect for your first experience and to learn or practice sailing.
It is an incredible training area with its five islands to explore.Club Nautico Mar Menor´ is constructed completely from wood and is a unique building in the zone.

‘Club Nautico Mar Menor` is found in the town of Los Alcazares, in the West of the Mar Menor. It is near the Balsicas train station and the airport and has an exit off the AP7 motorway. It is very close to the city of Cartagena.

The peaceful Mar Menor is perfect for your first nautical experience and to learn to sail. You can spend an amazing day with family or friends anchored on one of its five islands. Bring food and enjoy a day at sea, have a siesta, swim or simply listen to music as you watch a beautiful sunset as the boat sails in the wind.

Virazon Charter has four boats available to rent with or without a host. Two of the four can be used to obtain official spanish nautical qualifications.

SAILING YACHT CHARTER MAR MENOR MURCIA
The boats are available year round to enjoy a sailing trip on the peaceful Mar Menor. You will forget all about what time of day it is as you enjoy a magical trip with the sun, wind and energy of the sea.
The Mar Menor enjoys year round warm weather, with average winter temperatures of 15-20 degrees and summer temperatures of 25-30 degrees. This allows us to sail on sunny days all year and enjoy beautiful sunsets.
Why not try renting and sailing your own boat? If you are qualified we have three boats to choose from, and even if you are not we have hosts available who will do everything for you. You can choose from a trip of one hour, three hours, four hours or eight hours with a host and drinks included.
If you would like to get qualified, we can help you with that too!
We also do improvement classes for two people. Once you have passed the qualification we can do a class for yourself and your partner. In the morning we will spend four hours improving your technique and afterwards you can sail alone for the rest of the day. For these type of classes we use Damio 23 or Vivacity 20 sailing boats.
Virazon Sailing school
1. Sailing licence
After passing this course you will be able to sail boats of less than 6 meters up to two miles from the coast during the day and motor boats.
To take this course we will need NIE, passport and medical examination of the medical centers that perform for the car.
2. Host of Basic Sailing (PNB)
With this qualification you can sail vessels of less than 8 meters up to 5 miles from the coast during the day and at night and also motor boats. To achieve this qualification you must also do a theory exam at a date set by the Sailing authorities. You must complete 8 hours motor training, radio training and 16 hours sailing training if you wish to host sailing boats.
3. Host of recreational vessels (PER)
With this qualification you can host vessels up to 15 meters up to 12 miles from the coast, during the day and at night, and also motor boats. You must do a theory exam at a date set by the sailing authorities. You must complete 16 hours motor training, radio training and 16 hours sailing training. If you wish to host and cross to the Balearic Islands an additional 24 hours training is required.
